Our church was the first church in Huntington built as required by Duke’s Laws instituted in 1665. It wasn't until 1747 that the Presbytery of Suffolk was organized. Now Old First Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Presbytery of Long Island. The organization, doctrine, and sacraments/transitions in place reflect our faith.
